The last time we heard "double up" in a hip-hop song it was punctuated by Sir Mix-A-Lot doing a so-unnecessary-it's-necessary "ugh' UGH, UGH!" So who better to bring the phrase back to the pop consciousness than the king of unfortunate double entendres, 12-part homoerotic melodramas and even creepier unresolved personal issues? Kelly enlists two Young guns (Jeezy and Dro) on "Blow It Up," corrals the always happy to help Snoop Dogg for "Freak It in the Club," snares Oscar-darling Ludacris for "Pull Your Hair" (probably not about being a jerk on the playground) and grabs none other than Kanye himself for "Hook It Up." Double Up's first single will feature JT co-conspirator T.I. and stripper aficionado T-Pain. In other words, every meaningful figure in modern hip-hop guests and this will sell a billion copies. Golden!
