Recognized for her flamboyant videos, outfits, and performances, Lady Gaga, born Stafani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is an international superstar. She was raised Roman Catholic in a struggling lower class family. Both of her parents worked 12 hours a day to make ends meet. An American singer and songwriter, Lady Gaga learned to play piano by the age of 4. She was accepted into Juiliard at the age of 11, but instead was sent to a private Catholic school.
