First Recordings is a 15-track compilation of the band's miscellaneous early work and incorporates cornerstone material from their split LP with the Disharmonic Orchestra (1989), The Pleasure Of Life sampler (1989), the Mucous Secretion demo (1988) and the Extreme Deformity EP (1989).
