Dirty Blonde [Indie Exclusive Platinum Color]
$24.98  24.98
chart cover
You can't put Bebe Rexha in a box. From her Grammy-winning songwriting roots on Eminem's "The Monster" to global chart-toppers with David Guetta and Florida Georgia Line, Rexha has established herself as a premier musical chameleon. With her latest project, Dirty Blonde, she officially enters a new era as an independent powerhouse. Now signed to EMPIRE, the Brooklyn-born star has crafted a 13-song "genre kaleidoscope" that serves as her first-ever visual album, representing a total creative rebirth and a departure from the major-label system she's known since she was a teenager.Recorded across London, Tokyo, and Europe, Dirty Blonde captures the energy of Rexha's global travels. The project seamlessly blends heavy-hitting dance floor anthems with deep, personal storytelling. With the lead single "New Religion" she takes us straight to the club by reimagining the iconic dance record "Insomnia" by Faithless. On "Tokyo," she explores a drum & bass pulse inspired by a late-night rendezvous in Japan, while "Cike Cike" (produced by long-time collaborator DJ Snake) sees Rexha embracing her Albanian heritage by mixing traditional linguistic roots with modern 808 basslines. At the emotional core of the album is the lead single, "I Like You Better Than Me." The track strips away the pop-star veneer to tackle themes of insecurity and self-scrutiny, blending raw lyrics with a pop-rock edge. From the Jersey-bounce-meets-country vibes of "Drink and a Little Love" to her vulnerable reflections on fame, Dirty Blonde is a celebration of an artist who is finally playing by her own rules. As Rexha firmly asserts, "The old Bebe is dead," leaving behind a focused, stronger creator who is making the music she truly loves.1xLP, Gatefold Jacket, Platinum Colored Vinyl, Exclusive Cover Art. Mm Food [20th Anniversary Reissue]
$34.98  34.98
chart cover
Originally released in 2004, MF Doom's MM.FOOD is hailed as a classic hip-hop album full of inventive production, remarkable wordplay, and unique themes. Celebrated for it's seamless blend of humor, wit, and social commentary, the album ushers listeners into a bizarre world of food-related metaphors, painting a bitterly comedic portrait of a life tainted by vice, violence, and jealousy. It was a brilliant and novel concept that gave DOOM plenty of room to explore the albums subjects.Throughout MM.FOOD, DOOM embeds complex ideas within seemingly simple narratives. Album opener Beef Rapp is a multi-pronged metaphor reminding listeners of the dangers involved in the glorification of conflict, especially within the rap game. Hoe Cakes borrows it's name from the sweet, hot water cornmeal patties, which he uses as a symbol to rhyme about indulgence and excess. Continuing the motif, DOOM uses the Madlib-produced One Beer to fold layers of depth about escapism and ego, while the popular Rapp Snitch Knishes critiques the self-incrimination and contradictory behaviors of some rappers. Overall, MM.FOOD is both a social commentary and a piece of social satire, showcasing MF DOOMs ability to blend serious themes with his unique, playful lyrical style.

I Built You A Tower [Indie Exclusive Frosted Teal]

Death Cab for Cutie is one of the definitive indie-rock bands of the century. After twenty-odd years in the major label system, the band returned to their indie roots and signed with ANTI- Records, and they’re back with a brand-new eleventh album titled, I Built You A Tower out June 5th. I Built You A Tower is the sound of loss, compartmentalization, and then grief bursting out from the seams. It’s also the sound of the growth that comes after falling apart, of acknowledging pain without letting it destroy you. “I see the tower existing on your emotional horizon,” Ben Gibbard states. “You don’t always have to look at what’s inside it, but it’s a reminder that it happened. You know it’s there. You have to face it.” The band will tour in support of the new album, including a play at Outside Lands. This comes on the heels of a historic, sold-out global tour marking the 20th anniversary of the album Transatlanticism, and the release of their universally acclaimed, 2022’s Asphalt Meadow.

It stretches across the band’s sonic history, from propulsive classics to stripped, raw moments, while carrying an undercurrent of mortality and loss that refuses easy optimism.

Aethermead [Clear Vinyl]
$25.98  25.98
chart cover
Aethermead, the newest offering and 20th full-length album from Of Montreal, finds the band revisiting sounds from their early years, while still pushing artistic boundaries with their iconic style of pop & indie rock. Celebrated for their unique and prolific output, frontperson and primary songwriter / multi-instrumentalist Kevin Barnes recorded the album at Brooklyn's Honey Jar studios with audio engineer, Drew Vandenberg (Faye Webster, Toro y Moi), with basic tracking done live to a 16-track tape machine with Barnes' longtime live band. "I wanted to capture a quick moment together and to make on-the-fly, spontaneous creative decisions," says Barnes. "It felt very liberating and exhilarating to have to start and finish an album in a month's time." The result shimmers with indie pop elements of their 2004 release, Satanic Panic in the Attic, as well as the raw, live energy of 2013's Lousy With Sylvianbriar. Inspired partly from a recent move to Brooklyn, NY and a yearning for community, the album marks a shift in Barnes' daily routines, with the album's title referencing a section of Prospect Park called the Nethermead, where Barnes walks their dog every day. "I started a meditation practice soon after moving to help me self-regulate," says Barnes. "I began to imagine I was sending all my destructive and useless thoughts/energies into the ether." Barnes' beautiful and melodic chord progressions are on full display with tracks like "Already Dreaming," as well as the straight-up rock & roll banger "Take The Form." Other highlights include the loungey "My Zhe Zhe," as well as the bluntly sexual lead single, "When." From the breakthrough brilliance of 2007's Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? to a steady run of boundary-pushing releases, Of Montreal have remained fearless sonic shapeshifters-equally at home crafting hook-laden anthems as they are exploring surreal, experimental textures. The band's prolific output has led to numerous late-night TV appearances-including The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon-and brilliant collaborations with artists such as Solange, Janelle Monáe, and Jon Brion. On stage, they transform concerts into immersive spectacles of color, costume, and cathartic energy. The band has performed across the globe, gracing festival stages at Coachella, Primavera, Lollapalooza, Vive Latino and beyond, while also amassing hundreds of millions of streams worldwide. With a new tour on the horizon, Of Montreal continue to celebrate their legacy while pushing boldly forward.

Fantasia [Yellow]
$31.98  31.98
chart cover
In the technical sense, every previous album by the radiant and heavy French trio SLIFT has been a fantasia-a composite of genres and forms that allowed the band to improvise, to jam on themes until they seemed to spiral together into space. Their acclaimed third album, 2024's Ilion, was a sci-fi story built with 10- to 13-minute exploratory escapades, often starting with doom metal or stoner rock before spinning freely into glorious instrumental oblivion. But, in a bit of intentional irony, SLIFT's fourth album is actually called Fantasia. It's their leanest and most direct record to date. It is also their most riveting album yet, a pointed saga about overcoming international upheaval delivered by a band bearing down, not wasting a single second in the process.Though only Jean and bassist Rémi Fossat are related, SLIFT is essentially a band of brothers. They've been friends with drummer Canek Flores since high school, and 2026 marks a decade together in this trio. They rehearse with religious regularity in a basement in the countryside near Toulouse, inside the jam room where they've long indulged their propensity for longform wonder. But they built the songs of Fantasia differently. Jean started many of the songs by himself, then quickly brought them to basement rehearsals with a clear and concise idea of how he imagined them taking shape. By the time they crossed France's northern border into Belgium to record in the enormous live room at Daft Studios, they had a tight set of lean, agile, and punchy songs. The band's vast influences are evident: the album evokes Clutch getting wild, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Soviet writer Mikhail Bulgakov, Pink Floyd, and Master of Reality-era Sabbath. And the sonic tapestry is aided by the skillful mixing of Kurt Ballou (Converge, Cave In, High on Fire). The songs aren't lacking the complexity or intensity that have made SLIFT a rising star in heavy music; they've simply found new ways to weave the complexities of their past inside every piece, like a tapestry that reveals a new layer every time you look. In doing so, they offer an affirming and urgent message: Together, we can still change the times in which we live.It is dreadfully easy these days to feel powerless. SLIFT reckons directly with the modern onslaught of cruelty and absurdity on Fantasia, whether that's not caring about our home planet or one another. But these eight songs are about trusting in some hidden power for fighting back, for believing in a world where something we cannot yet articulate or define offers not just a way to disrupt the status quo but perhaps to destroy it completely. SLIFT is loud, heavy, and aggressive inside these anthems. They're preparing for a battle they think we can still win.

AFI / DECEMBERUNDERGROUND

On their 2003 major label debut Sing the Sorrow, AFI made a seismic sonic shift, largely eschewing its punk and hardcore past for bombastic pop. For their platinum-selling follow-up Decemberunderground, they reunited with Jerry Finn, the famed producer who helped define pop-punk in the 1990s and 2000s, for what Entertainment Weekly called their "most melodically acute distillation" of "eerie, metal-edged Cure sound."

The album debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 and features fan favorites "Love Like Winter," "Kill Caustic," and "Summer Shudder." Dense arrangements, arena-rock-ready songs and the critically acclaimed ("Miss Murder") have made this a perennial favorite. "Slicker, sleeker and more immaculately angst-ridden than its predecessor," Alternative Press wrote, "their conviction, perseverance and hardcore roots bring a whole other level of intensity to . songs about hormonal alienation and heartache."

Box For Buddy Box For Star - Super Deluxe [Colored Vinyl]
$44.99  44.99

In 2024 the prolific New York artist Nate Amos released his label debut "Box for Buddy, Box for Star" under his solo moniker This Is Lorelei. The record was critically acclaimed and received year end accolades from Rolling Stone, Billboard, GQ, Pitchfork, Stereogum, The FADER, Paste, but the album and Amos' star has continued on an unrelenting rise. The last year saw him release a breakthrough record with his band Water From Your Eyes, a rerecorded collection of This Is Lorelei songs entitled "Holo Boy", and share a slew of collaborations and reimaginings of the "Box for Buddy" songs, repackaged as a quasi-deluxe release that included MJ Lenderman, Snail Mail and Amos' father and sister, Bob & Sarah Amos. The songs on "Box for Buddy" have continued to resonate, appearing in headlines and grainy live videos as artists like Waxahatchee and Cameron Winter cover them, incorporating Amos' songs into their own setlists. It seemed only logical then that the entirety of Box for Buddy should receive this reimagining, pulling together a constellation of Amos' friends, family and peers to cover and collaborate on the full tracklist. "Box for Buddy, Box for Star (Super Deluxe)" features fully reimagined versions of every song from Amos' break out LP; a hushed and glitchy take from Hayley Williams and her close collaborator Daniel James, from their new project Power Snatch, a sweeping ballad from SASAMI complete with headturning key changes, and pure guitar euphoria from Momma. An unexpectedly great pairing between Jeff Tweedy and longtime Amos collaborators fantasy of a broken heart is among the other treasures contained on this singular collection, which also features outsider pop auteur LUCY (Cooper B Handy), Tim Heidecker, and the long awaited studio version of Waxahatchee's take on "Where's Your Love Now."

Blending the strengths of the quartet's three prior LPs while marking a return to it's hardrock roots, the platinum-certified record stands as the heaviest of the California ensemble's career. That it succeeded while flying in the face of trends underlines it's significance and appeal. Massive riffs drive tracks such as the grinding "Down," stormy "Heaven & Hot Rods," and vitriolic "Sex & Violence." These and other songs bulldoze and plow, their muscular arrangements caked with thick sludge and aluminum tones, their sinister moods draped in distortion.Sourced from the original analog tapes, pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing, and housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket, Mobile Fidelity's 180g 45RPM 2LP set presents No. 4. in audiophile sound for the first time on vinyl. With exceptional groove definition, quiet surfaces, and black backgrounds, this collectible reissue plays with enhanced liveliness, balance, and solidity that raise the profile of an album that contains a wealth of colors, dynamics, and subtle accents that demand transparent resolution. Any River

A decade ago, three employees of JJ's Market and Cafe became Styrofoam Winos. Lou Turner, Trevor Nikrant, and Joe Kenkel bonded over their mutual adoration for Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Leonard Cohen, and dollar bin country records. Styrofoam Winos have always gone with the flow, which makes Any River an apt title for their new album, the follow-up to 2024's Real Time. Their playful approach is bolstered by the chops of seasoned musicians who have performed many hundreds of concerts, both together and as touring members of Ryan Davis and the Roadhouse Band, MJ Lenderman and the Wind, and as solo artists. Each song on Any River came out of jam sessions at Turner and Nikrant's home studio, and a shared Google doc of lyrics soon followed. They recorded in Louisville-their first album made outside of Nashville-with Roadhouse bandmate and Equipment Pointed Ankh mastermind Jim Marlowe. Marlowe's understated production kept the band's unique synergy on full display. Styrofoam Winos manage to strike a perfect balance between reverence and irreverence for the musical traditions they're working within. Their knowledge of the canon is scholarly, but such knowledge is always followed by a wink. It's the music of experienced shapeshifters, defying easy categorization while remaining instantly recognisable.

Leaning further into experiments with electronics, hip-hop, acid grooves, and the otherwise unusual, the result is a dizzying orbital trip expanding the idea of what's possible in rock music.Disputes between The Butthole Surfers and Capitol Records left the album unreleased, while the band regrouped and re-recorded some of the material for 2001's Weird Revolution, released through Hollywood Records. After The Astronaut collected dust, eventually developing a mythic status.A quarter century later, Butthole Surfers are realizing their vision for After The Astronaut. Newly mixed by guitarist/producer Paul Leary, After The Astronaut corrects the record on the band's activity in the late 90s with a bold, idiosyncratic evolution of their sun-fried psychedelia.

Then Again [Indie Exclusive Swamp Green with Autographed Cover]
$33.99  33.99
chart cover
I guess you could call it a lost album," says Rodney Crowell. "I stumbled upon it in my vault at home. I'd forgotten about it completely." He's referring to Then Again, which he recorded and shelved two decades ago before moving off into new directions. Since then, the album has been biding it's time, waiting for the moment when it's songs would hit hardest. And they hit incredibly hard now, largely because age and experience have granted Crowell a richer perspective. "I'm glad I put it on the shelf, because now is the time for it. It may not be the time for it for the rest of the world, but it's time for it for me. That's why I wanted to call it Then Again. I thought that was a clever way of saying that what was happening then is happening now. Once lost and now found, Then Again is something the Rodney Crowell of the 2000s could never have predicted but something the Rodney Crowell of the 2020s recognizes instinctively: a work of nuance, insight, and sensitivity that considers death but celebrates life. "I'm trying to understand that this spirit of mine is going to leave this body and go off somewhere else. I've got a pretty good idea that it's going to be someplace good, but I still need to perfect some part of my spiritual journey here before I check out. I can see that in these songs now.

$21.98  21.98
chart cover

Ezra Collective’s Chapter 7, now celebrating its tenth anniversary, captured the restless energy of a young band finding its voice - spiritually curious, rhythmically fearless, committed to community as compass. Built on grooves made for sweat-slicked basements and late-night communion, its seven movements reveal a blueprint forming: jazz as a living expression of where you come from and who you stand with.

The Chapter 7 (10th Anniversary Edition) reissue revisits that formative statement from a band that would soon become trailblazers as both the first British jazz act to win the Mercury Prize, and then a BRIT Award. Remastered for vinyl and expanded with new incarnations - live cuts from NPR's Tiny Desk and the band’s landmark Royal Albert Hall performance - the reissue presents Chapter 7 not simply as an early document, but a living manifesto: rhythm as ritual, youth culture as sanctuary, and jazz as an open invitation.

And now from their creative partnership comes a new, never-before-heard album featuring 10 tracks written solely by Neil. Drawn from the Home Before Dark sessions, featuring such musical luminaries as Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench of the Heartbreakers, Wild At Heart is the culmination of the unexpected, deeply felt, Neil Diamond x Rick Rubin trilogy.

Let It Die Here [Desert Glass]
$37.98  37.98

Linda Perry’s “Let It Die Here” is a raw, spiritual reckoning, a journey through inherited pain, grief, and redemption. Across seventeen tracks that blend confessional poetry, cinematic rock, and vulnerable introspection, Perry confronts the ghosts of her past — mothers, lovers, and the darker corners of self.

The record moves from the streetlight confessions of “Balboa Park” to the searing surrender of “Let It Die Here,” culminating in “Albatross,” a release from the weight she has carried her whole life. It is an album about release, letting go of guilt, embracing imperfection, and finding beauty in survival.

On the new record, Stephen muses about love in its many forms – partners, friends, neighbors, and even strangers – brought to life by rich vocals and a technicolor pop sound. The title track epitomizes the album’s themes, as Stephen proclaims the importance of showing love to others, even (and especially) when they may not be expressing the same.

The Me That Remains [Indie Exclusive Orange]
$28.98  28.98
chart cover
How do we sit in the unrest of the world without jumping to conclusions on how to fix it? That is one of the themes behind Amy Grant's new single and opening track, “The 6th Of January (Yasgur’s Farm)” from her upcoming album The Me That Remains. While the title could indicate a stance on the political spectrum, it is quite the opposite. The song asks the question, haven't we all lost our way? With references to the idealistic era of Woodstock and the hope for something better, the song is more of a question than a commentary. Says Amy, “We operate in the world around us and sometimes neglect the power of what we have in our choices and how those choices affect the world around us”. Sonically, the song is reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, yet the lyric and message is timeless. “I want to be present for what emerges in my time”, says Amy,“ and the song observes life and the unrest many of us feel yet knowing we are shaping the world around us daily. Maybe life and problem solving is more of ‘we’ than ‘me’”. The song’s lyrics point to the fact that all of us still have a ways to go in solving the unrest but you have to sit in it, see another’s lens of how they perceive the world, and know that we are stronger as ‘we’. With references to Woodstock, Harper’s Ferry and John Lennon, the song invokes a conversation that all is not lost, but if we can choose to look through a lens other than just our own, maybe there is hope to come together and find the way forward through the unrest.

Live Forever

Live Forever was captured over the course of two sold-out summer nights at the Old Town School of Folk Music in bandleader Alynda Segarra’s new home of Chicago, Illinois. Spanning 14 songs, Live Forever presents The Past Is Still Alive in its entirety, as well as a selection of Hurray for the Riff Raff’s show-stopping, set-defining staples: decrying ICE on the poetic “Precious Cargo” and The Navigator’s anthemic “Pa’lante”; the prescient digital age critique of “Pyramid Scheme”; and ripping through a folk-rock rendition of LIFE ON EARTH’s “Rhododendron,” which is out today with a new video shot at Old Town School of Folk Music. Fronted by Alynda Segarra (they/them), Live Forever features the musicians from Hurray for the Riff Raff’s latest touring lineup – Parker Grogan (electric guitar, vocals), Nnamdi Ogbonnaya (bass, backing vocals), Marcus Drake (drums) and Sen Morimoto (saxophone, keyboards), produced by Johnny Wilson. “I wanted to capture this time and this brilliant band, a moment that won’t last forever. This record is a love letter to the working class musicians out there, we who slug it out on the road against all odds. We deserve so much more from an industry built to exploit us. It’s a thank you to all the fans supporting live music, you who believe songs made by human beings are a vital life force. Thank you.” -Alynda Segarra In addition to hundreds of tour dates behind The Past Is Still Alive, they have played the stages of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Austin City Limits, The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS Saturday Morning, Newport Folk Festival and more, while recently sharing bills with everyone from Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman to Ani DiFranco, Bright Eyes, Orville Peck, Soccer Mommy and The Head and the Heart. The Past Is Still Alive was named one of the Best Albums of the 2020s So Far by Pitchfork, and one of the Best Albums of 2024 by The New York Times, The Atlantic, Associated Press, NPR Music, Rolling Stone, Billboard, OUT, Mojo, Uncut and a multitude of others.

Dancing On The Wall [Clear Red]
$24.98  24.98
chart cover

MUNA’s journey has always been about holding space for the complex, messy, ecstatic realities of life, and with their fourth album, Dancing On The Wall, they’ve never been sharper, darker, or more exhilarating. Emerging from the sparkly, confetti-strewn heights of their 2022 self-titled record, MUNA now channel the anxious, uncertain energy of living in a Los Angeles defined by political tension, environmental decay, and the quiet pressures of millennial precarity. The result is a record that feels both intimate and spectacular, a pop world built with teeth, wit, and emotional resonance, a soundtrack for hearts simultaneously on fire and observing the chaos around them.

Across the record, MUNA explores desire, intimacy, and connection against a backdrop of a world in flux. There’s a quiet reckoning throughout the album with how to keep living, loving, and reaching for one another while bearing witness to political brutality and systemic violence and how joy survives without denial. Tracks like “Wannabeher” capture the dizzying thrill of stepping fully into someone else’s fantasy, while “Why Do I Get A Good Feeling” lingers long after the beat ends, a meditation on fleeting joy and suspended possibilities. The album closes with “Buzzkiller,” a stark reckoning with desire and its aftermath, the ache of achieving what you wanted only to realise new questions, doubts, and hungers remain.

Their previous work, including the viral hit “Silk Chiffon,” has earned hundreds of millions of streams and widespread acclaim, alongside TV appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Good Morning America. The band also maintains a devoted following across TikTok, Instagram, and Spotify.

The record is produced by Naomi McPherson, with their trademark attention to detail blending effortlessly with bandmate Josette Maskin’s well-honed behind-the-scenes pop technique to create living, breathing worlds for lead singer Katie Gavin’s incisive lyricism and signature voice. Dancing On The Wall blends euphoric sonic landscapes with sharp, human storytelling. The album reflects a fiercely self-directed creative process, one shaped by instinct, trust, and total artistic control. It feels lived-in, urgent, and cinematic, a reflection of a generation navigating uncertainty while refusing to let go of joy. With this album, MUNA proves once again that pop can be daring, intimate, and socially conscious all at once: a record that doesn’t just capture the moment, but distills it into a world you want to inhabit.

Live at WOMAD 1982
$41.98  41.98

It was a simple idea; to create a festival out of all the brilliant music and art made all over the world, stuff made outside of the mainstream – music that wasn’t getting on the radio and was even harder to find in record stores… … the very first WOMAD Festival took place at the 240-acre Bath and West Showground, Somerset over the weekend of 16–18 July, 1982. With the dream ‘not to sprinkle world music around a rock festival, but to prove that these great artists could be headliners in their own right’, the three days and five stages played host to 60 bands from over 20 countries; a line-up that included The Drummers of Burundi, Pigbag, Salsa de Hoy, Simple Minds, Musicians of the Nile, Echo and the Bunnymen, Prince Nico Mbarga, Rip, Rig and Panic, The Beat and many more… “I remember this gig well,†says Peter Gabriel. “We played a mix of old and brand-new material. I would normally be very nervous about playing some of this stuff for the first time, however my mind was very preoccupied with the running of our very first WOMAD festival and the potential financial disaster that it was heading towards. Because WOMAD was unique in its focus on music and art from around the world, and mixing it with up with rock and jazz, no-one knew how many people might turn up and we had seriously overestimated our appeal. But those that had decided to check out WOMAD and its weird and wonderful lineup were open-minded, bold and curious - a great audience. It was a landmark and edgy gig for me both personally and musically and brings back lots of memories.†Across the three days ‘an evening concert series’ took place in the Showering Pavilion on the festival site. On the Friday night that concert featured Tian Jin (a song and dance troupe from China), Simple Minds and, with a ‘special festival set of non-album material’, Peter Gabriel. Live at WOMAD 1982 is a recording of that Friday night concert. The non-album material in question are seven of the eight songs that would make up the album Peter Gabriel 4. An album that wouldn’t be released for a further two months. On-stage, Peter is joined by David Rhodes (guitar), John Giblin (bass), Larry Fast (synthesisers). Jerry Marotta (drums), Peter Hammill (guitar, vocals) and “the wonderful Bristol-based drum and dance group,†Ekomé (drums, percussion). “We wanted to show that wherever you were born, whatever colour or language, whatever religious or sexual persuasion, powerful passionate and joyful work would have a warm welcome in WOMAD. At the beginning, most music industry professionals told us that we had no chance of making this dream work, we had all the wonderful naïve misguided optimism of the young, and were convinced that we would prove all the cynics wrong. However, at the end of the first festival, it was clear we had an artistic success, but not a financial one… but that’s for another story.†Peter Gabriel’s Live a WOMAD 1982 takes us back to not only the birth of a festival – one that has now hosted more than 160 editions in 27 countries - but also to the premiere of an album with songs, like The Rhythm of the Heat, San Jacinto and Shock the Monkey, that have become central to the Gabriel canon. More than just a live album, Live at WOMAD 1982 is a pivotal moment, available now on CD and LP for the very first time.

They Call Us The Lucky Ones [Indie Exclusive Electric Smoke]
$25.98  25.98
chart cover
They Call Us The Lucky Ones is a road-worn portrait of modern Americana — songs about movement, memory, love, and survival, exploring the space between freedom and consequence where highways replace homes and connection becomes the true measure of success. The album tells stories of outsiders and drifters, chosen family and lost friends, broken systems and restless ambition — and the ghosts we carry no matter how far we run. Yet for all its hard-earned perspective, the record carries an undeniable sense of hope: a clarity that comes from a life lived in motion, the humor found along the way, and the simple joy of playing music with people you trust. It’s a record that knows how to have a good time without losing its soul. This collection of ten songs finds Ryan Bingham at his best — where life isn’t always about perfection or redemption, but about connection. Because no matter how far you go, how fast you run, or how loud the music gets, all that matters is the people and stories you carry with you along the way.

“It’s the record where Slayer became Slayer.” That’s what Kerry King says about Hell Awaits. And he knows of what he speaks. As the band’s guitarist, co-songwriter and co-lyricist, he was in the trenches with vocalist/bassist Tom Araya, guitarist Jeff Hanneman (R.I.P.) and drummer Dave Lombardo, creating what has become one of heavy metal’s greatest albums. A significant departure from Slayer’s 1983 debut, Show No Mercy—and every Slayer album that came after it—Hell Awaits is both an outlier and a solidification of form. Show No Mercy was the mission statement, but Hell Awaits is a more developed and intricate execution of Slayer’s speed, chops, and aggression. Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, Hell Awaits is the second studio album by American thrash metal masters, Slayer. The crucial album was initially released on April 8th 1985, by Metal Blade Records, who, in honor of Hell Awaits's 40th anniversary, will be unleashing unique physical releases, along with a digital release for fans.

Sex Pistols / Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols, an album that rewired 20 years of rock in under 40 minutes, is available today from Rhino High Fidelity (Rhino Hi-Fi), the premium vinyl reissue series. Released in 1977, it debuted at #1 on the U. K. charts despite being banned by major retailers and causing widespread controversy. Bristling with broadsides like "Anarchy In The U. K. ," "God Save The Queen," "Pretty Vacant," and "Holidays In The Sun," the album distilled rage and disillusionment into a single, unrelenting statement. In the album's new liner notes, producer Chris Thomas recalls how the band found their recording approach almost by accident during an early session. "We put down a track, just rhythm guitar and drums, pretty much first-take, no mistakes. It was impossible to know if it was any good, so, being a bit stumped, I asked Steve if he would like to have a go at putting the bass part on. Instead of playing a traditional bass line, he simply mirrored his guitar an octave lower-an unexpected move that snapped everything into focus. "It was an absolute 'Eureka!' moment," Thomas recalls. "The combination was so powerful, so simple. We bashed three more songs down, adding the bass and double-tracking the guitar in just a couple of hours. We were seriously in first-take territory. "

An Undying Love For A Burning World is an epic album of colossal hypnotism-beautiful, fearsome and utterly compelling in a way that only Neurosis can be. Aaron Turner (Sumac, Isis) joins the band on vocals and guitar, a name whose legacy is intertwined with the band's own and a true kindred spirit. Neurosis have never been afraid of change, and here they embrace endless regeneration, surrendering to the emotional exorcism through heaviness and distortion that their music incites. Just as the universe tends towards balance, Neurosis' cacophony of noise, rhythm and dissonance always resolves towards moments of beauty. The addition of Turner's powerful vocals and wildly creative and unhinged approach to guitar proves to be a vital force as Neurosis find themselves again at the mercy of evolution and expression. The album was recorded by Scott Evans (Kowloon Walled City, Sumac, and Great Falls) at Studio Litho in Seattle during three weekends this winter, and mixed in three days just six weeks before release at Evan's Antisleep Audio in Oakland. Neurosis will play their first show in seven years on the traditional lands of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana as part of the Fire In The Mountains festival by special invitation of Firekeeper Alliance, a non-profit dedicated to reducing youth suicide in Indian Country.

Anything In Return [Rose Quartz Eco Mix]

Since his earliest recordings began circulating online in 2009, Toro y Moi has stood out not only for his prolific output but for his fearless evolution. Across each release, Chaz Bear has expanded his sonic universe, blurring genre lines and redefining modern pop in the process. His third full-length album, Anything in Return, marked a defining moment - a breakthrough that solidified his place at the forefront of alternative and chillwave music in the 2010s.Originally released to widespread acclaim and selling nearly 150, 000 copies, Anything in Return captures Bear at the height of his powers. Blending funk, psych-pop, and vibrant, glitch-laced electronics, the album balances sleek, intuitive pop songwriting with adventurous, producer-driven textures. Hip-hop-indebted vocal samples, steady 4/4 grooves, and house-inspired flourishes underscore tracks like "High Living" and "Day One, " while the brooding lead single "So Many Details" reveals a darker, more introspective edge. The result is a record that feels both meticulously crafted and effortlessly immediate - a statement of artistic identity unbound by genre.Created following Bear's move from South Carolina to Berkeley, California, Anything in Return reflects a period of transition and distance, channeling personal change into lush, forward-thinking sound. There's a palpable sense of confidence throughout - a songwriter fully embracing his instincts as a producer, merging emotional candor with rhythmic sophistication. To celebrate it's 10-year anniversary, Anything in Return is available for the first time on picture disc, arriving in record stores and via Carpark Records on April 14, 2023.Since it's release, Toro y Moi has continued to shape the musical landscape - headlining international tours, producing for major artists including SZA, performing on national television, and appearing at global festivals such as Coachella and Fuji Rock - cementing his legacy as one of his generation's most inventive voices.

'Burst Into The Quiet' has been produced, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (DGM) at Domination Studios and features a beautiful cover by Mario Lopez.

Dying Light: Beast - O.S.T. [Colored Vinyl]
$48.98  48.98
chart cover
In Dying Light: The Beast, you step back into Kyle Crane's skin, but he's no longer the man he once was. Years of experiments have left him torn between fragile humanity and a monstrous power that he can barely control. Every light, every shadow, every choice feels dangerous. The forests and ruins of Castor Woods don't just set the stage, they breathe, they watch, and they punish the reckless. This is survival stripped to the bone, where horror is not just outside, but inside you.Olivier Deriviere's powerful and capturing score for Dying Light: The Beast doesn't just accompany Crane's journey, it is his voice. Sometimes it whispers in empty rooms, fragile and broken, sometimes it roars with distorted rhythms and pounding drums when the Beast takes over. Between silence and sound, the music pulls you deeper into Kyle's fractured soul, making every step and every heartbeat part of the story. It's not just a soundtrack, it's the echo of a man losing, and maybe finding, himself.

Feet On Fire
$25.98  25.98

Ben Chapman is a road warrior who has spent the previous three years in a whirlwind of activity — writing songs for friends like Hayes Carll, Brent Cobb, and Marcus King; making his Grand Ole Opry debut; and releasing three acclaimed albums of country-fried funky-tonk, but nothing could have prepared him for what 2025 would bring him. His new record 'Feet on Fire' captures that period of wild transition, with songs inspired by Chapman's marriage to fellow songwriter Meg McRee and the arrival of the couple's first child. On songs like the guitar-driven title track, Chapman mixes Pink Floyd atmosphere with Crazy Horse crunch, showcasing the full spread of his musical influences. Elsewhere, he tips his hat to his southern roots with the laidback, loping "Out in the Country" and the Stax-sized soul ballad "Missing You." Produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Anderson East, Feet on Fire captures Ben Chapman as we've never heard him before: his back against the wall and his heart full, determined not only to meet the challenges up ahead, but to write about the process, too.

$25.98  25.98
chart cover
Ten years ago, in a sharehouse on Chapel Street, four 20-year-olds with zero expectations wrote and recorded an EP in a single afternoon. Those six blistering minutes of music became Giddy Up. An hour later, Amyl and The Sniffers had a name, a Bandcamp upload, and the beginnings of a legacy. Following a year of backyard gigs, playing for friends and partying across Melbourne's sticky carpet music scene, the band released their iconic second EP Big Attraction in 2017. Now, to celebrate a decade of raw power and reckless spirit, Giddy Up/Big Attraction returns in a definitive 10th anniversary 12-inch vinyl edition - fully remastered for maximum punch. Featuring early classics like "I'm Not A Loser" and "Stole My Pushbike," plus enduring live favourites "Balaclava Lover Boogie" and "Westgate," this is the sound of Amyl and The Sniffers before the world caught up - feral, funny, and unstoppable. The LP is housed in a gatefold sleeve showcasing Chris Sutherland's iconic 2017 band photo, alongside an exclusive new essay from Amy Taylor and a heap of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes shots from the band's earliest days by Jamie Wdziekonski. As Amy recalls: "We recorded and wrote over the afternoon... we'd never played together before that day... it's spontaneous, and fun and achievable in that time because to us it sounded more than good and we weren't perfectionists and it didn't matter." From DIY house shows in Melbourne to international stages, it all started here.

All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us (10th Anniversary) [Indie Exclusive]
$28.98  28.98
chart cover
All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us celebrates 10 years since the release in 2016 with a newly remixed and remastered presentation, along with reimagined artwork. Recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden All Our Gods... is the heaviest and darkest work to which - frontman Sam Carter, bassist Ali Dean, guitarists Adam Christianson and Tom Searle, and the latter's twin brother drummer, Dan Searle have ever put their name to, both on and below it's surface. It is an album that challenges and progresses a genre long thought to have stagnated, and embraces it's inspirations at a time when many rock and metal bands seek to hide them in search of mainstream acceptance. It is also born from considered minds filled not by thoughts of being the biggest band in the world, but of making a difference. Architects are, for that reason, a band like few others; they are five young men who stand for something, and who possess an intelligence, awareness and spirit that inform the very fiber of their band. The quintet all practice a vegan lifestyle, tour with a consciousness about their footprint on the world, and who devote time and energies to environmental causes. The worldwide anger and disillusion encapsulated in All Our Gods... wrestles with contemplations of death, god and faith in search of some semblance of hope for a world increasingly consumed by fear, anger and confusion. This album is Architects statement of intent to the world, it is time to stand up, take notice and be counted.

Inception (Verve Acoustic Sounds Series) [180 Gram]
$38.98  38.98
chart cover
Recorded on January 10 and 11, 1962 at Rudy Van Gelder's studio, Inception marked McCoy Tyner's debut as a leader for Impulse! Records, introducing a cohesive new trio with bassist Art Davis and drummer Elvin Jones, both colleagues from the Coltrane ensemble, whose familiarity lends the session it's focused clarity. Across a 6-track program, featuring four Tyner originals ("Inception, " "Sunset, " "Effendi, " and "Blues for Gwen") alongside "There Is No Greater Love" and "Speak Low, " the trio setting foregrounds Tyner's distinctive voicings, pedal-point harmonies, and rhythmic drive, supported by Davis and Jones's firm, responsive interplay. Released in 1962 as Impulse! Was rapidly expanding, the album established Tyner's identity as a bandleader and stands as an essential early statement in his solo discography. Verve's Acoustic Sounds Series features transfers from analog tapes remastered on 180g vinyl in deluxe gatefold packaging.

Grand Serpent Rising [Dark Green]
$36.98  36.98
chart cover
Eight years after their previous studio release Eonian, Dimmu Borgir return with thirteen punishing yet remarkably diverse tracks under the banner Grand Serpent Rising and even the sheer weight of the album title alone speaks volumes. ”It fits perfectly,” Silenoz nods. ”Dimmu Borgir is a leviathan of a band on a grand scale and we are rising once again. While the serpent represents evil to some, for us it symbolizes something else: renewal, growth, knowledge, and liberation. Shedding our skin, so to speak. And let’s not forget that February 2026 marks the end of the Year of the Snake, roughly the same moment this album was completed.” Once you descend into the treacherous journey charted by this Norwegian serpent, Silenoz’s words are immediately vindicated. Following the ominous intro ‘Tridentium,’ the opening track ‘Ascent’ strikes like lightning across a frozen, darkened northern sky. Aggressive, vicious, and twistedly beautiful, it instantly confirms that Dimmu Borgir have lost none of their intensity, menace, or authenticity. And the momentum never falters. Across nearly an hour of music, Grand Serpent Rising maintains an iron grip: it is a majestic and powerful statement that sounds like a band possessed by the feral energy of the early ’90s Norwegian black metal underground, while simultaneously wielding the compositional discipline and hard-earned wisdom forged through more than three decades of relentless creation.

Over Before You Know It [Indie Exclusive Sunny Lawn Splatter]
$24.98  24.98
chart cover

Michigander – the acclaimed indie rock project led by Nashville-based singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jason Singer – has announced his sophomore album Over Before You Know It, out Friday, July 31 2026 via Totally Normal Records / Thirty Tigers.

Jason Singer thought his 2025 full-length debut as Michigander would change everything about his life and work. During the prior decade, after all, Singer had cobbled together the start of a successful career as an incisive and infectious songwriter from the stuff the music industry considers scraps—a half-dozen singles and a quartet of EPs, collectively suggesting he was one of indie rock’s sharpest new tunesmiths. The debut album Michigander felt only like the upper lip of the plateau Singer had been climbing for a decade already. So what, he wondered, was he supposed to do now? The answer that came back was obvious: Keep writing.

'Over Before You Know' It is the magnetic and relatable result of that work and the broad but detailed view from the top of that plateau. Across 10 songs written and recorded quickly with a crew of close friends at home in Nashville, Singer mixes self-criticism with music industry sendups, sad-eyed contemplations with unguarded love songs, offering up the things that almost stopped him and those that now keep him going with a rare admixture of candor and catchiness. This, it turns out, is the level up.

Above all, it is all a vehicle for Singer to think about becoming the person he still wants to be, for being grateful enough for what he already has to keep going. To be there is to be human. It’s not necessarily about being content but at least about not breaking your back or brain over the things you have yet to accomplish. Sure, it’s over before you know it. But it’s over a lot faster, Singer has now realized, if you don’t take time to enjoy whatever it actually is.

$34.98  34.98
chart cover

Massive Attack and Tom Waits release a new collaboration “Boots on the Ground”, with an exclusive to vinyl B-side provided by Waits – a droll and sardonic spoken word piece entitled “The Fly”.

An accompanying evocative, high-intensity montage film created by Massive Attack portrays a momentous American epoch that is yet to be named, and comes in the aftermath of the largest public protests in American history - focused on opposition to ICE raids, the militarization of domestic forces, and state authoritarianism.
"One day many years ago I accepted an invitation from Massive Attack to collaborate,” Tom Waits explains. “Today, as in all of mankind's yesterdays, guarantees this song will never go out of style. Man's fiasco folly is a feast for the flies. Hence, the B-side of Massive Attack’s upcoming 12 inch "The Fly" features my appreciation for the winged nuisance."

In keeping with the band's sector leading efforts to reduce carbon emissions across both live activity and recorded output, Massive Attack have partnered with Good Neighbor to produce an ‘EcoSonic’ pressing. Manufactured using 100% recycled PET (rPET) rather than traditional PVC, the record is fully recyclable and produced via an energy-efficient injection moulding process - a significant shift in record manufacturing. Packaging follows the same approach, with sleeves made from 100% recycled, FSC®-certified paper stock and outer slipcases produced from recycled polyethylene.

180g ‘EcoSonic’ record, mixed at random in red, white, and blue. Housed in a full color sleeve with additional screen printing.

Stay Rad [Beer Color]
$27.98  27.98
chart cover

It's hard to believe fresh-faced pogo punks Teenage Bottlerocket (or TBR as the kids call them) celebrated their 25th anniversary last year. Since their inception way back in 2000, there has been one word best suited to describe them: Rad. Teenage Bottlerocket is the epitome of rad. Stay Rad! Shows a slightly different side of Teenage Bottlerocket, putting their songwriting progression and personal growth on full display, while remaining a quintessential TBR album -complete with enthralling melodies, perfect harmonies, and their trademark breakneck down strumming. As with every Teenage Bottlerocket record, Stay Rad! #has a good mix of silly and serious, but the overriding sentiment is one that echoes it's title. From the incredibly catchy and clever "I Wanna Be a Dog" to the heartfelt hit "Everything to Me," Stay Rad! #checks all the boxes of classic TBR. At the same time the band manages to stretch their boundaries on the riffy ode to Norwegian black metal "Creature from The Black Metal Lagoon" and the hardcore influenced "The First Time That I Did Acid Was the Last Time That I Did Acid." Top to bottom Stay Rad! meets expectations and shatters them with plenty of new twists for the legions of TBR faithful.

There is a kinetic energy that binds drummer and producer Karriem Riggins and singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer LIV.e, the spark that happens when instinct meets flow and spirit finds rhythm. Their collaborative debut as GENA (short for "God Energy, Naturally Amazing," and loosely inspired by Gina from Martin), The Pleasure Is Yours feels like a playful, soulful conversation between two kindred improvisers: LIV.e's smoky, unpolished vocals glide through Riggins' warm, percussive universe. Rooted in jazz, soul, and hip-hop, LIV.e brings a raw, experimental approach to R&B, while Riggins - known for his work with Common, Erykah Badu, The Roots, Madlib, and his close kinship with J Dilla - extends his lifelong dialogue between jazz improvisation and beat science. Together they create a world that's analog and ethereal, percussive and poetic, bridging eras without settling in one - the sound of two artists finding a new shared language rooted in rhythm, vulnerability, and exuberance.

Frantx is a glit-noise band based in Paris that creates music in a dimension of hyper-speed where individualities get blurred, immersed in post-internet sonic drifts. The four members of Frantx explore the limits of their instruments and new modes of interaction through extended techniques, heterodox amplifications and electronic extensions. Frantx was born to question our roles as musicians and target the political dimension in which we are supposed to exist in this contemporary context. Music for weird legged dancers, exploring new ways of listening and dreaming.IDUTYDU is a post-teenage dream from overstimulated brains about escaping real life glitches. Like a sabbath of punk ghosts and hyper pop fairies, saturated voices trying to exorcise the horrors of the world through a rageful vocoder: sometimes naive, sometimes cruel, always raw.

Get It Honest [Indie Exclusive Cream]
$25.99  25.99
chart cover
In an era where roots-rock bands can easily settle into familiar ground, The Revivalists’ new album Get It Honest arrives as a bright, purposeful statement — one that balances introspection with a sense of shared, hard-earned joy. Working alongside veteran producer Rich Costey, whose credits include Muse, Foster the People, and Death Cab Cutie, the New Orleans eight-piece channel their expansive live energy into a collection that feels both finely tuned and deeply soulful. From the driving heartbeat of opener “Heart Stop” to the reflective sway of “Lost and Found,” Get It Honest moves with a natural emotional arc, never forcing its moments and never overstaying them. “Love’s The Only Thing” stands out as a centerpiece, capturing the band’s signature fusion of rock, soul, and roots with a clarity that feels both immediate and lasting. Throughout, Costey’s production brings focus without sacrificing feel — horns, guitars, and vocals interlocking in arrangements that sound at once seasoned and newly alive. Rather than simply drawing from their influences, the band reshapes them here, blending alt-rock lift with jazz-tinged soul and Southern rhythmic undercurrents into something distinctly their own. The result is an album that not only reflects their journey from New Orleans clubs to major festival stages, but also reasserts their identity as a band still pushing forward. Get It Honest doesn’t just live up to its title — it embodies it, delivering a record grounded in authenticity, connection, and creative renewal.

For Ecca Vandal, punk was survival; a way in, and a way out. Born to a Sri Lankan family in South Africa and raised in Australia, she grew up under pressure to fit a mold. Punk blew that open. It was her way of pushing back, of refusing silence. Trained in jazz but craving something louder, she found freedom in being raw and unapologetic. Turning rebellion into identity, and identity into sound.

Fuck Marry Kill [Yellow]
$29.98  29.98
chart cover
With Fuck, Marry, Kill, Tink delivers her most provocative and conceptually sharp body of work to date, firmly reclaiming her position as a premier storyteller in the modern R&B landscape. Moving beyond the diary-entry style of her earlier years, this project utilizes the titular game as a brutal yet honest framework for the complexities of modern intimacy. Tink navigates the chaos of the dating world with a dual-threat precision that few can match, seamlessly blending the grit of her Chicago rap roots with the velvet textures of contemporary soul. Under the executive production of Hitmaka, the album finds it's heartbeat in the friction between high-gloss production and raw, unfiltered lyricism. The album is meticulously structured to mirror the chaotic cycle of urban romance: the adrenaline of fleeting lust, the heavy stakes of long-term commitment, and the inevitable coldness of a bridge burned. In the "Fuck" segment, Tink radiates a lethal confidence, delivering anthems of autonomy and physical desire that demand space in the club and on the charts. As the project transitions into "Marry," she peels back the armor, offering a vulnerable look at the desire for stability and the terrifying leap of faith required to trust a partner. However, it is in the "Kill" section where Tink's songwriting truly bites; here, she chronicles the aftermath of betrayal and the empowerment that comes from cutting ties, transforming her heartbreak into a weapon of self-preservation.Ultimately, Fuck, Marry, Kill is a masterclass in "Toxic R&B" that refuses to settle for easy answers. Tink captures the specific anxiety of a generation trying to distinguish between a temporary thrill and a permanent soulmate, all while navigating a world of ghosting and digital infidelity. By leaning into her flaws and her triumphs with equal intensity, she creates a sonic space where listeners feel both seen and vindicated. This isn't just an album about love-it's a survival guide for the heart, narrated by an artist who has seen every side of the game and lived to write the definitive soundtrack for it.1xLP, Single Pocket Jacket, Yellow Marbled Vinyl

99 Songs Of Revolution Vol. 1 [Indie Exclusive Colored]
$27.98  27.98
chart cover
Red Smoke Indie Retail Exclusive. Originally conceived as a massive multi-band, multi-volume covers project, this album saw Streetlight tackle eleven songs that influenced Kalnoky's musical development. The tracklist is a genuinely eclectic mix, ranging from Radiohead and Bad Religion to Paul Simon and a 1950s Louis Jordan number. Rather than simple recreations, the band fully transforms each song through their own lens, making the covers feel like natural extensions of their catalog. Only one volume was ever released, leaving the larger 99-song concept permanently unfinished.

Everything Goes Numb [Colored Vinyl] [Reissue]
$34.98  34.98
chart cover
Clear vinyl. Streetlight Manifesto's debut full-length arrived in 2003 and immediately established the New Jersey band as a force in third-wave ska-punk. Fronted by Tomas Kalnoky, who had previously led Catch 22, the album blends furious horn arrangements with surprisingly dark, introspective lyrics about mortality and wasted youth. Tracks like "A Better Place, A Better Time" and "Point / Counterpoint" became instant fan favorites and remain setlist staples to this day. It developed a massive cult following and is widely considered one of the defining records of the genre.

Somewhere In The Between [Indie Exclusive Colored]
$27.98  27.98
chart cover
Red Smoke Indie Retail Exclusive. Streetlight's third album (following the Keasbey Nights re-recording) refined and expanded on the sound of their debut, delivering a tighter, more polished collection of songs. The record opens with "We Will Fall Together," one of the band's most beloved tracks, and maintains a relentless energy throughout it's ten songs. Lyrically, Kalnoky continued exploring themes of cynicism, faith, and perseverance, wrapped in the band's signature wall of horns and propulsive rhythms. It cemented Streetlight's reputation and remains many fans' pick for the band's best work.

Hands That Thieve [Indie Exclusive Colored]
$34.98  34.98
chart cover
Red Smoke Indie Retail Exclusive. After years of delays and a very public, bitter dispute with Victory Records, Streetlight finally delivered their follow-up to Somewhere in the Between in 2013. The album is the band's most ambitious in terms of song length and arrangement complexity, with several tracks stretching well past the five-minute mark. It carries a slightly more mature, weathered tone than earlier records, reflecting the turbulent period the band had endured to get it released. Despite the troubled road to release, it was warmly received and stands as a worthy closer to what many consider the band's classic era.

The Nerve
$27.98  27.98

The Nerve is confrontation and catharsis — a record about speaking up, asking questions, and refusing to stay quiet. FEA brings urgency and sharp wit to songs that confront gender-based violence, inequality, and erasure while leaving room for humor, irony, and cultural commentary. The result is punk that hits hard without losing its sense of identity or humanity.

Christian Name
$39.98  39.98
chart cover
Charles Wesley Godwin's highly anticipated new album, Christian Name, his fourth album and second with Big Loud Records, is an intensely personal collection of songs. Born out of moments of mourning, redemption, and a tried-and-true reaffirmation of his faith, Christian Name is how Godwin learned to live again. While the record is a highly personal affair – the album's title and cover come from his late grandfather, a Methodist preacher named Charles Godwin – he’s quick to note how critical a role his creative community of friends and musical collaborators played in the album’s conception. Not only does Christian Name include a pair of thrilling feature collaborations – the earworm “Better That Way” with Luke Combs and the remarkable “Hey There, Son” featuring Wyatt Flores – but it’s also the result of Godwin partnering with some of music’s most treasured songwriters: Stephen Wilson Jr. (“Brand New”), Liz Rose (“I Caught the Sunrise”), Lori McKenna (“Hey There, Son”), Aaron Ratiere (“God’s Been Good to Me”), Travis Meadows (“Try Again,” “Every Once in a While”), Scooter Carusoe (“Better That Way,” “Hallelujah High,” “Place I Know”), and Tom Douglas (“Street Advice”). 2-LP set.

Everything I Ever Saw [Indie Exclusive Green & Black Heavy Splatter]
$28.98  28.98
chart cover

Everything I Ever Saw finds THE MENZINGERS entering a new era in what’s already been a storied career. The Philadelphia punk legends’ eighth album chronicles moments of significant change—the personal, the political, and the universal—while returning to the core creative principles that first put them on the map with listeners the world over. Twenty years in, the Menzingers have discovered that the wisdom gained with time’s passing is even stronger than the emotional armor they once wore in their youth, and Everything I Ever Saw captures the quartet embracing the here and now while strengthening the bonds that have held them together.

THE MENZINGERS have always created as a four-headed unit, with all members (vocalist/guitarist Greg Barnett, vocalist/guitarist Tom May, bassist Eric Keen, drummer Joe Godino) throwing in their respective talents as part of the craft—but for Everything I Ever Saw, the group worked in creative symbiosis more than ever before. “The way we made this record feels the most like how the band was in the very beginning: Me and Tom coming to the band with the most basic element of a song, and the four of us shaping that,” Barnett says.

Instrumental in building that excitement was locally centered and nationally renowned production legend Will Yip, who threw in with the Menzingers on 2017’s After the Party and their sonically expansive 2019 record Hello Exile. This time around, Yip once again became an unofficial Menzinger while the band crafted these 11 songs in their South Philly space. “Working with Will was like a homecoming,” May beams while talking about Yip’s contributions. “We’ve grown up together over these years, and we’re still incredibly close friends. He’s the best at gassing you up and making sure everybody’s on the right page, but he’s also so good at pointing out stuff that might not fit the vision without being a fucking prick. He’s the hardest working person that we’ve come across in the music industry, and he’s incredibly inspiring.”

Something that may have been overlooked throughout our long career. But not by our fans.. !!! HOMAGE isn't about imitation. It's about acknowledgment. About tracing the line from influence to identity, from listening to becoming. You ask why ?.. why not! It felt like a good thing to do, it's been 20 years since we did Real to Reel.. It sparked writing a new original Tesla song called "Never Alone". And it's what bands are supposed to do.make music.

Cosmic exploration. Spiritual transformation. Unbridled spontaneity. These are the guiding principles of Pigeon, a psychedelic five-piece who hail from the English seaside but make music that transcends borders. Pigeon are Falle Nioke (vocals, percussion), Graham Godfrey (drums), Josh Ludow (bass), Steve Pringle (keys, synths) and Tom Dream (guitar), musicians who have all come from elsewhere and have landed in the creative community of Margate, Kent. Their debut album, Outtanational, is a thrilling collection of party songs without limits: think William Onyeabor in outer-space or early Hot Chip making nocturnal afrobeat in a 70s New York loft. Building on a string of acclaimed EPs that have been playlisted on 6Music and led to coveted live slots at UK festivals like Glastonbury, Pigeon have evolved out of Afro-disco territory into something moodier and more motorik. It's an expansive record indebted to the power of the groove and questing to find the meaning of home, laced with heady krautrock, post-punk and punk-funk. Pigeon must fly.

Saxophobia - Celebrating The Sax Craze Of The 1920
$21.99  21.99
chart cover
Famously invented by Adolphe Sax in the 1840s, the saxophone quickly became an established part of French and British military bands, but remained a novelty instrument elsewhere until it gained a foothold in vaudeville and ragtime bands in 1920s America. From there, it became an essential part of dance bands, and a prominent solo instrument in jazz. A great deal of this early development can be attributed to one musician - Rudy Wiedoeft. Born into a musical family, Rudy became a virtuoso clarinettist at an early age, before becoming obsessed with the saxophone in 1914. Coinciding with the start of the dance craze, he was convinced he could make a better living as saxophonist than as an orchestral clarinettist and spent the following years forming and running bands for nightclubs and cabaret, and writing and recording his own virtuosic pieces for saxophone. Concentrating on recording over performing, he became a household name, but the emergence of the jazz era and it's new star musicians eventually overshadowed his work, and his achievements and influence slipped into obscurity. Multi-instrumentalist, educator, and virtuoso saxophonist, Chad Smith instigated this album both as a tribute to and in order to shine a light on this largely forgotten innovator. A veteran of Broadway since 2002, Smith has made an astonishing career which spans live and studio work at the highest level, featuring in a diverse range of soundtracks from Star Wars to The Simpsons. He has appeared as a soloist with most of America's premier symphony orchestras, and has collaborated with innumerable artists such as Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, and Lady Gaga.

Emotional Junglist [Indie Exclusive Black/White Marble]
$36.98  36.98
chart cover
Nia Archives returns with Emotional Junglist, an album about love – but not just the shimmering romantic parts. Written throughout 2025 – a year that saw Nia fall in, and horrifically back out of, love – each track will encompass something of the experience. Marking her biggest sonic leap to date, her alt-jungle sound honed alongside James Ford, Ethan P. Flynn and Julia Michaels, will see her flirt with everything from dewy-eyed indie pop and nineties electronica, underscored by the syncopated beats and thudding basslines of her jungle roots with a tracklist that features Jorja Smith and Sampha. The motif for the album is a shell – tough on the outside, but through pressure, maturation and resilience, something precious is built within. Nodding to the female form, the spiral chamber also symbolizes growth and self-development.
