Adam "Atom" Goren sure does love his bike. One of the handful of momentson the new Attention! Blah Blah Blah that doesn't sound like yourCD player is going too fast, "Out to Everyone" is a tribute to theclean-air power of his two-wheeler, and a companion piece to "Cross CountryAtom and His Package Tour via Bicycle," from 2001's RedefiningMusic. That album's relative maturity continues here as well. Sure,he still writes songs with goofy choruses along the lines of "You do knowthat the Palestinians are not the same thing/ As the Rebel Alliance!" andgives his songs titles like "I Am Downright Amazed at What I Can DestroyWith Just a Hammer." But when he makes a metal riff out of Simon &Garfunkel's "Cecilia" to tell us to give up nicotine ("Friend,Please Stop Smoking"), he doesn't sound like he's (just) kiddinganymore.
